Indeed Introduces New Version of Indeed Privileged Access Manager — Indeed PAM 2.8
Migrating to .net 6
Indeed PAM 2.8 now runs on .net 6, the latest version of Microsoft's application development platform. This allows for increased productivity and efficiency, with the latest features and tools that enhance the user experience.
Support for user authentication via RADIUS
Indeed PAM version 2.8 introduces support for user authentication via RADIUS. Now you can integrate with Indeed AM and use various multi-factor authentication options (via email, push, SMS, OTP, and Telegram).
Alpha version of RDP proxy for Linux
An alpha version of RDP proxy developed by Indid Company is available for demonstration.
The following scenarios are available for demo at the vendor's stand from a server running Linux OS:
opening sessions without 2FA and with 2FA;
opening a session with and without a request to the PAM administrator;
PAM administrator viewing of active session;
session terminated by PAM administrator;
video recording of the session.
SFTP/SCP support and control over data transfer direction
Indeed PAM 2.8 users will be able to connect to target resources via SFTP/SCP protocols. In this case, the Indeed PAM administrator will virtual phone number service be able to receive all data files transferred within the session. To prevent data leaks, the new version adds additional security features that allow data files to be transferred in only one direction.
Port forwarding in SSH proxy
It is now possible to forward ports from a target resource to a local host via SSH proxy. This allows target administrators to use familiar scripts to manage resources using familiar tools.
Resource groups without accounts
For the convenience of administrators, Indeed PAM 2.8 has implemented the ability to create resource groups without linking them to specific privileged accounts. The innovation will allow flexible configuration of access to group objects (resources), since for each user the link will be made at the stage of issuing permission, which will allow different users to open sessions on behalf of different accounts on the same resources included in the same group.
User Groups
Indeed PAM 2.8 introduces a feature that allows you to create groups and group users into them to quickly and flexibly grant access to Indeed PAM resources based on group membership. Administrators can now grant access permissions to target resources more quickly and efficiently.
Managing Privileged Accounts for Information System (IS) Owners
Now, IS owners can add passwords for privileged accounts to Indeed PAM themselves. The feature is available in the user console, which will allow the IS owner to avoid sharing the account password with the Indeed PAM administrator. |
